Hi, I’m Christina

I approach dog training as more than just teaching a dog to obey every cue.

My Philosophy on Dog Training

I work with you in your home, alongside your family, to build a strong bond with your dog so that everyone can live happily and comfortably together. Your dog is part of your family, and every household has its own unique lifestyle, needs, and expectations.

Taking your environment and family dynamic into account, I guide both you and your dog towards a more balanced, comfortable life together, while creating meaningful, positive experiences through trust, connection, and relationship-building. I focus on teaching you how to train your dog, using clear communication and teamwork.

My aim is to help you bring out the best in your dog, while also developing your own confidence and understanding. You will learn to guide your dog towards success, and in turn, your dog will motivate and inspire you.

All of this is achieved through positive, force-free training. No punishment, no intimidation, just clear, effective communication and mutual respect.

I am committed to treating animals with love and respect, and my approach is built around motivation. Around 70% of the work focuses on developing a strong connection between you and your dog. This connection doesn’t happen automatically, it needs to be learned and nurtured.

Just like with people, strong relationships with dogs take time and effort. I teach you how to motivate your dog and become their greatest reward. When your dog truly values being with you, you have the foundation for lasting success. Dogs have natural instincts, but you can become the most meaningful and rewarding part of their world.

The remaining 30% focuses on communication. You’ll learn a clear, consistent “language” that your dog can easily understand. If your dog is confused about what you want, progress becomes difficult for both of you. I help you establish simple, effective signals and cues that your dog can reliably respond to.

Clear communication includes both verbal cues and body language, ensuring your dog understands what behaviours are encouraged and which are not.
